MARBELLA COSTA DEL SOL SPAIN
It’s glitzy and oozes charisma Marbella is Spain’s answer to St. Tropez. A favoured haunt for the rich and famous Marbella is the Mediterranean’s Premier Holiday resorts. Our Hotel is situated in centre of Marbella probably the most famous area of the resort “the golden mile” which stretches from Marbella to the luxury yacht spotter’s paradise of Puerto Banus this stretch is where Marbella’s wealth is most evident you will see Ferraris cruising the quayside and a collection of some of the most swankiest yacht’s in the world. (Have a coffee at one of the quayside cafés and see how many celebrities’ you can spot)

Places to see and things to do in Marbella
La Feria de San Bernable

We have planned our holiday to coincide with the San Bernable Feria, this colourful event a riotous combination of flamenco music, parades of horsemen and women, typical dances of Andalusia; Latin pop concerts a funfair, market, and a fantastic firework display. The locals set up marquees known as casetas, people socialise, eat local dishes such as pescaito (deep fried code) cold meats and Parma ham. Strangers shake hands to show their friendship and respect. Toast each other with a glass of wine, and party until dawn.

The Old town of Marbella is absolutely charming. Its narrow cobbled streets, chic boutiques and local cafés lay side by side. The Old town is perfect for shopping and relaxing in the many café’s, bars and restaurants.

Puerto Banus its fantastic marina is one of the world’s most exclusive harbours lined with designer shops, café’s bars and restaurants, soak up the Hollywood ambiance from a nearby café and observe the rich and famous, or take a stroll past the million dollar yachts.

Ronda This beautiful old town with fantastic views over the surrounding countryside lies 60km from Marbella up a winding road in the Serrania De Ronda mountain range. Some of the artefacts found there date back to prehistoric times (as far back as 28000BC)

Gibraltar Cross the border into British territory where you can spend your pounds and enjoy tax free shopping, take the cable car to the top of the rock and meet the locals-the semi wild troop of Barbary apes, hang on to your belongings as they are cheeky little monkeys. The Rock of Gibraltar is about one hour’s drive on the coast road (don’t forget your passport)

Eating out
You don’t have to be Bill Gates to Holiday in Marbella as there are plenty of family run restaurants and tapas bars serving good food at reasonable prices.

Entertainment, Marbella has it all
By day you can chill out by the roof top pool or on the beach where there’s every type of water sports imaginable, there is also Tennis, golf, horse riding and hiking nearby. When the sun goes down be prepared to party as will be taking you to some of the best salsa clubs on the coast and should you fancy a change there are nightclubs, bars and pubs enough to keep you entertained until sunrise.

Weather in Marbella
Marbella has a micro climate which renders an average temperature of 19c throughout the year; sheltered by the high peaks of the Sierra Blanca the climate of Marbella is more soothing than any other neighbouring location with more than 320 days of sun per year (average June Temperature 24c).
